A significant highway in South London has reopened following a deadly stabbing in Purley city centre.
Brighton Highway was closed between Christchurch Highway and Purley Approach as police investigated a number of stabbings that left one individual lifeless and two individuals in hospital.
As of Friday morning (July 12), 4 bus routes – the 60, 166, 407 and 466 – are on diversion.
Though Brighton Highway is open once more, visitors is closely congested because of the route being cordoned off.
The incident occurred shortly after 9pm on Thursday (July 11).
Surrounding roads are additionally closely congested as commuters attempt to keep away from the crime scenes.
